Tamannaah Bhatia on Ozempic Rumors and Inflammation Struggles
Tamannaah Bhatia recently discussed how she has always been naturally slim, especially during her younger years. Speaking with Harper's Bazaar India, she noted that having been in front of the camera since she was 15, her physical changes have been visible to the public. She stated that until her late 20s, she maintained a slender physique, which she considers her natural body type.
The actress revealed, however, that she struggled to manage her weight during the COVID pandemic, a period when she believes the Hindi-speaking audience formed their current perception of her. Before entering Bollywood, Tamannaah had already established herself in South Indian cinema. Her role in S. S. Rajamouli's Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) significantly boosted her nationwide recognition.
According to Tamannaah, while this might be a new experience for the Hindi-speaking viewers, she has nearly 100 films to her name, showcasing her in various physical forms, predominantly leaner ones. She emphasized the importance of acknowledging that a woman's body undergoes constant changes, presenting a different version of itself roughly every five years.
Tamannaah further explained that maintaining her weight proved challenging during the pandemic. "For me, Covid hit my body hard, making it tough to maintain the weight I had in my 20s. I battled with it. I enjoy eating rice, roti, and dal."

Dealing with Inflammation
Tamannaah further elaborated on the impact of inflammation and her strategies for managing it. She stated that inflammation is a genuine concern, and any woman experiencing hormonal cycles understands the shifts within her body. She experienced similar changes in her early 30s and acknowledges that her curves are a natural part of her physique.
She concluded by saying that her body shape is inherent to her Sindhi heritage, emphasizing that her hip and waist structure are permanent features. Tamannaah expressed her belief that she would never conform to global beauty standards, advocating for the celebration of Indian beauty and the appreciation of natural curves.
