Standards for responsible participation in Shotlee community features, including chat, forums, and user interactions

USER RESPONSIBILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY
BY PARTICIPATING IN SHOTLEE'S COMMUNITY FEATURES, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL YOUR COMMUNICATIONS, CONTENT, WORDS, AND ACTIONS.
We are NOT responsible for:
- •Any content, advice, information, or recommendations posted by users
- •AI-generated responses or suggestions provided through chat features
- •User-to-user interactions, communications, or transactions
- •The accuracy, reliability, or appropriateness of any user-generated content
1. Overview and Scope
These Community Guidelines govern your participation in Shotlee's community features, including:
- •Chat rooms and direct messaging
- •Community forums and discussion boards
- •Comments and user-generated content
- •AI chat features and automated responses
- •User profiles and shared content
- •Any other interactive features of the Service
These Guidelines supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By using community features, you agree to comply with all three documents.
2. User Responsibility and Accountability
YOU ARE FULLY ACCOUNTABLE
As a community member, you are fully and personally responsible for:

- 2.All content you post, share, upload, or transmit, including all photos, videos, images, files, and other media
- 3.All advice, recommendations, or information you provide to other users
- 4.Your conduct and behavior within the community
- 5.The consequences of your actions and communications
- 6.Ensuring all your content complies with applicable laws
- 7.Verifying the accuracy of information you share
- 8.Any harm that may result from your communications
Important: Shotlee provides a platform for users to communicate, but we are NOT responsible for user-generated content, shared media (photos, videos, files), interactions, or the consequences of user communications. You use community features at your own risk.
SHARED MEDIA DISCLAIMER
WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY MEDIA (PHOTOS, VIDEOS, IMAGES, FILES, OR OTHER CONTENT) SHARED BY USERS THROUGH CHAT, MESSAGES, OR OTHER COMMUNITY FEATURES.
- •Users are solely responsible for all media they share or send
- •We do not review, approve, or endorse media content before it is shared
- •We are not liable for offensive, inappropriate, illegal, or harmful media shared by users
- •Users view and interact with shared media at their own risk
3. AI Chat and Automated Content Disclaimer

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AI-GENERATED CONTENT, RESPONSES, SUGGESTIONS, OR RECOMMENDATIONS PROVIDED THROUGH CHAT FEATURES OR ANY OTHER PART OF THE SERVICE.
Regarding AI-generated content, you acknowledge that:
- •AI systems can produce unpredictable, inaccurate, inappropriate, or harmful outputs
- •AI-generated health information is NOT medical advice and should never replace professional medical consultation
- •AI responses may contain errors, biases, or misleading information
- •You should NEVER rely solely on AI-generated content for health decisions
- •All AI-generated suggestions must be independently verified with qualified healthcare professionals
- •We disclaim ALL liability for any harm resulting from AI-generated content
- •AI chat features are experimental and provided "as-is" without warranties
Use AI features at your own risk. Always consult with licensed healthcare providers before making any health-related decisions.
4. Prohibited Content and Activities
The following content and activities are strictly prohibited in all community features:
Illegal Activities and Content
- • Promoting, facilitating, or engaging in any illegal activities
- • Discussing or promoting illegal drug use, trafficking, or distribution
- • Offering to sell, purchase, trade, or facilitate transactions involving controlled substances
- • Sharing information about obtaining prescription medications without a prescription
- • Promoting or facilitating unauthorized resale of medications or healthcare products
- • Circumventing pharmaceutical regulations or legal restrictions
- • Any content that violates local, state, federal, or international laws
Medical Advice and Healthcare Violations
- • Providing medical diagnoses or treatment recommendations without proper credentials
- • Prescribing medications or dosages
- • Offering medical advice that could endanger someone's health
- • Encouraging others to ignore or contradict professional medical advice
- • Practicing medicine or pharmacy without proper licensing
- • Representing yourself as a healthcare professional when you are not
Dangerous and Harmful Content
- • Content promoting self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
- • Encouraging dangerous health practices or experimental treatments
- • Promoting substance abuse or dangerous drug combinations
- • Sharing dangerous "biohacking" or unproven medical procedures
- • Content that could lead to physical or psychological harm
Misinformation and Harmful Health Claims
- • Deliberately spreading false or misleading health information
- • Making unsubstantiated medical claims or guarantees
- • Promoting unproven or dangerous treatments
- • Discouraging vaccination or proven medical treatments
- • Spreading conspiracy theories about healthcare or pharmaceuticals
Harassment, Abuse, and Harmful Behavior
- • Harassment, bullying, stalking, or threatening other users
- • Hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
- • Bad speech, profanity, or abusive language directed at other users
- • Mockery, ridicule, or belittling of other users or their health conditions
- • Doxxing (sharing personal information without consent)
- • Sexual harassment or unwanted sexual content
- • Impersonating other users or entities
- • Intentionally spreading fear, panic, or distress
Commercial Activities and Spam
- • Unauthorized advertising or promotional content
- • Soliciting purchases or sales of products or services
- • Multilevel marketing (MLM) or pyramid scheme promotion
- • Spam, repetitive messages, or flooding
- • Affiliate marketing or referral links without disclosure
Privacy Violations
- • Sharing others' personal health information without consent
- • Posting private communications or conversations
- • Violating patient confidentiality or HIPAA regulations
- • Collecting personal information from other users
Intellectual Property Violations
- • Posting copyrighted content without permission
- • Plagiarizing content from other sources
- • Trademark infringement
- • Violating others' intellectual property rights
Offensive and Irrelevant Media
- • Sharing offensive, obscene, or explicit images, videos, or media
- • Posting graphic violence, gore, or disturbing content
- • Sharing sexually explicit or pornographic media
- • Posting irrelevant media unrelated to health tracking or wellness
- • Sharing shock content or images designed to disturb others
- • Posting memes, images, or media that mock or ridicule other users
- • Sharing media containing illegal content or activities
- • Uploading files or media containing malware or viruses
System Abuse and Technical Violations
- • Attempting to hack, breach, or compromise the Service
- • Using bots, scripts, or automated systems
- • Attempting to manipulate or game Service features
- • Spreading malware, viruses, or malicious code
- • Circumventing security measures or access controls

Help maintain community standards by reporting inappropriate content
WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE REPORTING AND DELETING
You play a critical role in maintaining a safe community environment. We strongly encourage all users to:

Report Immediately
Report any messages, media, or behavior that violates these guidelines, including bad speech, mockery, illegal activities, and offensive/irrelevant media
- 2.
Delete Problematic Messages
If you have posted content that violates these guidelines, delete it immediately. Users who self-correct are viewed more favorably than those who must be moderated
- 3.
Don't Engage with Violators
Don't respond to or engage with users who post prohibited content. Instead, report and move on
- 4.
Encourage Others to Report
If you see something inappropriate, encourage others to report it as well. Multiple reports help us identify and address violations faster
Remember: Your vigilance helps protect the entire community. By reporting and deleting inappropriate content, you contribute to a safer, more supportive environment for everyone.
6. Content Moderation and Enforcement
6.1 Our Rights
While we are not obligated to monitor all user content, we reserve the right to:
- •Review, monitor, and moderate user-generated content
- •Remove, edit, or refuse to publish any content that violates these Guidelines
- •Issue warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans
- •Restrict access to community features
- •Report illegal activity to law enforcement
- •Take any other action we deem necessary to protect the community
6.2 Enforcement Actions
Violations of these Guidelines may result in:
First Violation
Warning and content removal
Repeated Violations
Temporary suspension of community access (7-30 days)
Serious or Persistent Violations
Permanent ban from all community features
Severe Violations
Immediate permanent ban and possible legal action
6.3 Appeals
If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, you may appeal by contacting info@shotlee.app within 30 days. Include:
- •Your username and account information
- •Details of the moderation action
- •Explanation of why you believe the decision was incorrect
7. Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behavior that violates these Guidelines, please report it immediately. We especially encourage reporting of:
Priority Items to Report
- •Bad speech, profanity, or abusive language
- •Mockery or ridicule of other users or health conditions
- •Any illegal activities or discussions promoting illegal behavior
- •Offensive or irrelevant media (photos, videos, images)
- •Harassment, threats, or bullying of any kind
- •Spam or commercial solicitation
- •Dangerous health misinformation
How to Report
- 1.Use the in-app reporting feature (available on all messages and content)
- 2.Email info@shotlee.app with details, screenshots, and message links
- 3.For urgent safety concerns, contact emergency services first (911 in US, 112 in EU)
- 4.Encourage other users who witnessed the violation to report it as well
Emergency Situations
If you or someone else is in immediate danger or experiencing a medical emergency, DO NOT rely on the Service or community features. Call emergency services immediately (911 in the US, 112 in the EU, or your local emergency number).
8. Liability and Disclaimer
NO LIABILITY FOR USER CONTENT
We are not responsible for and disclaim all liability related to:
- •Any content posted by users, including text, messages, and communications
- •Any shared media including photos, videos, images, files, or other media content
- •Any advice, information, or recommendations shared by community members
- •Any AI-generated responses or content
- •Bad speech, mockery, offensive language, or inappropriate behavior by users
- •User-to-user interactions, disputes, or transactions
- •Any harm, injury, or damages resulting from community participation or exposure to user content
- •The accuracy, reliability, appropriateness, or legality of any community content or shared media
YOU PARTICIPATE IN COMMUNITY FEATURES AT YOUR OWN RISK. ALWAYS VERIFY INFORMATION WITH QUALIFIED PROFESSIONALS BEFORE TAKING ANY ACTION.
9. Changes to These Guidelines
We may update these Community Guidelines at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through:
- •In-app notifications
- •Email notifications
- •Prominent notices in community features
Continued use of community features after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Guidelines.
