Karl Stefanovic flaunted his significant weight loss this past Sunday while spending a relaxing day at Noosa Beach in Queensland.

The 51-year-old Today show host was seen enjoying the sunshine at Noosa Beach alongside his brother, Peter Stefanovic, and sister-in-law, Sylvia Jeffreys. The trio took a refreshing swim before enjoying a leisurely walk along the beach.

Karl appeared happy and healthy as he walked barefoot on the sand, sporting dark board shorts that highlighted his noticeably slimmer physique.

At one point, the experienced broadcaster was seen cooling off in the water with Peter and Sylvia nearby, laughing and chatting as they enjoyed some downtime during the holiday season.

The veteran broadcaster seemed relaxed and comfortable as he chatted animatedly, occasionally gesturing with his hands and laughing as the three made their way along the water's edge.

Peter, a Sky News reporter, kept it practical for the sunny outing, choosing blue swim shorts and a wide-brimmed sun hat as he joined his brother for a swim in the ocean.

Meanwhile, Sylvia, co-host of Today Extra, turned heads in a plunging blue one-piece swimsuit, displaying her toned figure as she confidently walked along the beach beside her husband.

It appeared to be a fun-filled day for the three, who were smiling and chatting as they enjoyed some holiday downtime away from their busy television schedules.

The beach outing comes a year after Karl openly addressed his infamous 'dad bod' moment, which prompted a blunt text message from his billionaire best friend, James Packer.

During an appearance on The Kyle and Jackie O Show in November 2024, he mentioned feeling humbled after a photo of him revealing his 'dad bod' on the beach led to the businessman texting him.

'There's a shot of me on Christmas Day or whatever coming out of the surf, and it was bad,' Karl told Jackie 'O' Henderson and Kyle Sandilands.

'James Packer sends me a note that says, "Mate, you need to get your a*** to the gym."

James, 58, recently revealed that he was still gaining weight despite admitting to using Ozempic.

Karl admitted that James Packer's message served as a significant wake-up call to get in shape.

The photo in question was taken in Byron Bay during the summer of 2019, when Karl was enjoying some downtime with Jasmine.

Karl even shared the photo on Instagram, jokingly telling followers that he was pregnant.

'After a great deal of speculation... the rumors are true,' Karl captioned the cheeky post.

Jackie, 50, then inquired about how Karl dealt with seeing such 'confronting images,' and he responded that while he was embarrassed, Jasmine had always been very supportive.

'I feel like it's a lot of embarrassment, but then my wife is always so good about it,' Karl said.

Back in 2020, Karl pledged to lose 10 kilograms in 10 weeks on the Today show after weighing in at over 100kg.

'I started at 105kg, the heaviest I've ever been. It was incredibly embarrassing,' Karl said as he spoke to obesity expert Dr. Nick Fuller, who assisted him on his fitness journey.
