The 1-inch rule: Always inject at least 1 inch (2.5 cm) away from your previous injection site. This gives tissue time to heal and prevents lipohypertrophy (fatty lumps).
Example 4-week rotation:
Week 1: Right abdomen (upper)
Week 2: Left abdomen (upper)
Week 3: Right thigh
Week 4: Left thigh
Week 5: Right abdomen (lower) — start new cycle

Can I always inject in my abdomen?
Yes, but rotate within the abdomen. Divide it into quadrants (upper right, upper left, lower right, lower left) and rotate through them.
Does injection site affect how fast the medication works?
Slightly. Abdomen typically has the fastest absorption, followed by thigh, then arm. For weekly injections, this difference is minimal.
I already have lumps—what should I do?
