Rising Thefts and Scams for GLP-1 Drugs

Thefts targeting GLP-1 medications like Ozempic and Trulicity are increasing as demand surges. A 2024 KFF survey found about 6% of Americans using these drugs for diabetes and weight loss.

The Better Business Bureau (BBB) warns of fake messages, online pharmacy ads, and impostor doctor offers pushing counterfeit GLP-1 drugs. High demand for these popular weight-loss treatments is driving scam proliferation.
