Peptide Reconstitution Guide
How to Mix & Prep Safely
Step-by-step guide on peptide reconstitution. Learn how to use bacteriostatic water, calculate ratios, and handle vials safely. Guide by Shotlee.
Safety, Sterility & Precision
Proper reconstitution is the most critical step in research. Using Bacteriostatic Water correctly and maintaining sterility ensures the integrity of your Tirzepatide, Retatrutide, or other peptides. After reconstitution, use Shotlee to log your vial prep date and track the 28-day use window automatically.
The 5-Step Prep Process
Sanitize Everything: Use 70% isopropyl alcohol pads on the tops of both the peptide vial and the BAC water vial.
Draw BAC Water: Use a sterile syringe to draw the exact amount of Bacteriostatic Water needed for your ratio.
The Slow Drip: Inject the water into the peptide vial at an angle, letting it run down the glass wall. Never spray directly onto the powder.
Gently Swirl: Do not shake. Gently swirl the vial until the solution is clear. Some peptides (like BPC-157) dissolve instantly; others may take minutes.
Storage: Once mixed, most peptides must be refrigerated to prevent degradation.
