Selank Guide

Selank (sequence: Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro) is a synthetic analogue of tuftsin, an endogenous immunomodulatory peptide. It was developed at Russia's Institute of Molecular Genetics — the same research group that created Semax — and has been approved in Russia as an anxiolytic drug since the 1990s.

Unlike benzodiazepines, Selank produces anxiety relief without sedation, cognitive impairment, or addiction risk. It has been studied in Russian clinical trials for generalized anxiety disorder with consistently positive results and an excellent safety record.

Key distinction: Where Semax is stimulating and activating (focus, motivation), Selank is calming and stabilizing (anxiety relief, emotional balance). This makes them natural complements — the "Russian peptide stack."
